Planning in case of a Pandemie

The shock waves moved in March 2006 approximately around the globe. At the end ended house and game birds were registered in 39 countries at bird flu. Which had not considered possible: Even 186 humans were infected with the dangerous H5N1-Virus, 105 of them died. The outbreak of the bird flu in such a way specified fulfilled all from the World Health Organization (WHO) set up criteria of an initiating Pandemie. Among them one understands countries the spreading or even world-wide outbreak of an illness. Contrary to the epidemic disease a Pandemie is neither temporally nor locally limited. Finally only the factor of the “simple transmission from humans was missing to humans”, in order to bring the Pandemie in full measure to the outbreak in the case of the bird flu.

Also this time questions became fast loud, how one could order to such a dangerous Pandemie stop. Importantly, therein itself all experts are united, are the close co-operation of international organization like the United Nations or the WHO with the governments of the countries concerned as well as the relevant representatives of the pharmaceutical industry. It concerns particularly the co-ordination of planning and a standardized and accelerated decision-making process.
